If the only reason why you are doing no contact is to get your ex back, chances are that you are having the mistaken belief that your ex is the only woman who can bring you happiness. It’s alright wanting your ex back but a man who sees himself as a king does not compromise his own life for a woman who does not want to be with him.
This misplaced obsession with one woman is called Oneitis and it’s dangerous for your mental health! Your ex-girlfriend can change her mind to rekindle your old relationship but don’t make the mistake of waiting for her endlessly. Never center your entire life around the love and affection of a single woman. If your ex won’t come back or will come back too late, you should still be able to find happiness on your own, and eventually find it with another woman!
Don’t do no contact for the wrong reasons. Go no contact so that you can overcome your grief and move forward with your life. Getting an ex back should not be to overcome grief. Hardship and loss of important relationships are a crucial part of life and any man needs to learn to rebuild himself after he loses people who are important to him.
If you get back with your ex after you’ve reimagined yourself, then that’s only the icing on the cake. No matter what happens with your ex, I know that you will find a true queen in the future because you are a king!
