Self-control when dating is a crucial skill any man needs to learn to succeed with women. Some men profess their love to a woman too soon when they should still take things slowly. It sounds like it’s the right thing to express your love but often this will backfire. A part of being in control of your emotions is recognizing whether you love a woman or you’re only in love. Or maybe you’re even just lusting after her.
Lusting, being in love, and loving a woman. These three emotions are vastly different feelings. Each one being more profound and requiring more commitment than the other. Some women will immediately feel excited to hear that you love them, whereas others with a lot of experience will easily get turned off when you profess your love too quickly because love takes time. Not only can it turn a woman off, but if you’re wrong about your feelings, you’ll also regret saying that you’re in love with a woman.
It doesn’t serve you, nor the woman you’re dating by rushing to express a feeling that you haven’t internalized for long enough. I know that you’re a king and you want to date a woman who’s a queen. So always be realistic with your emotions. Set realistic expectations for yourself and the woman you’re dating or you will both be hurt if things do not work out the way you had hoped.
