Are you stuck wanting your ex back but she’s not interested in getting back with you? But at the same time, she’s messaging you for emotional support and keeps on bringing up the new guy she’s with right now? Many men will entertain this kind of stuff and will think that this is their chance to get their ex back because she’s not happy with her new man. And yes, that’s true.
If the other guy screws up, it’s your best opportunity to get back with an ex. But if she always brings up the new guy, even though she should know that it hurts you, then maybe you shouldn’t get back with her because you’re likely just a backup plan.
She does not value you enough to commit to you, instead, she keeps you on the back burner for the scenario that things don’t work out with the new guy. Another possibility is that she simply doesn’t want to let go because she knows that while she’s not yet in a happy relationship, she gets to use you for the security you used to provide. But the minute she found this happiness with her new boyfriend, or maybe even another one, she will drop you.
You deserve a woman who knows boundaries and has a clear commitment for only one man at a time! You are a king and you deserve a queen, not a user who always keeps one foot in the door just in case that things don’t work out. I know you miss your ex like crazy, but it’s not always the right thing to get back with an ex!
