Do you spend all your time ruminating about what it means that your ex asked you for a favor or that she asked to get her favorite hoodie back? It sometimes definitely has meaning when an ex gets in touch with you and you’ll understand her once you detach yourself enough from wanting her back. It starts when you treat her like a normal human being, rather than the one and only woman whom you need to prove that you’re worthy of love.
The reality is that once you look at your ex and your breakup more rationally and with less anxious emotions, you will be able to realize that sometimes there’s no meaning behind your ex reaching out. There’s no hidden meaning, there’s no sign that she wants you back, there’s no specific strategy that you need to apply.
The only strategy that you need to apply at all times is the following rule: Only make time for your ex and give her attention and affection when she does the same. Mirror her behavior. That way, you don’t need to overanalyze and be anxious about her. If you can’t see a clear sign that she’s missing you, then there’s simply no sign, and obsessing over it will not bring you anything but anxiety!
Never obsess over your ex! Obsess over how you can become happy again with or without your ex!
