If yes, chances are that your ex broke up without giving you any closure. Humans are hardwired for wanting to complete unfinished business. When an ex breaks up with you seemingly out of the blue, it is your brain wanting to resolve what you thought was not meant to be over and this turns into an addiction.
Chasing an ex to get her back to resume what you think is unfinished will only bring you pain. It is normal to want an ex back but it is important to remind yourself that things will get better as time passes, and whether you and your ex will get back together in the future, your biggest goal should be to find closure within yourself, not from her.
