Has your ex come back after a long time and maybe you even dated but then you broke up again? Maybe this even happened more than once? If yes, then it’s clear that one of you hasn’t changed and you’re repeating the same toxic relationship cycle. No contact is meaningless if it leads you back into the same relationship that didn’t work. It has to be the time where you change and hopefully, your ex-girlfriend does the same.
Your relationship has no future if one of you won’t do the hard work to reflect on why you make each other unhappy, so you can communicate it to each other. If you’re going through this, it’s time to face the reality that getting back with your ex is no solution to find peace.
If you both can’t give each other what you need, you either have to be honest and pull on one string to find a solution or face the truth that it is time to move on and find another woman. And then, of course, if the same problems repeat, take a hard look at yourself because it’s possible that the one who hasn’t changed might be you.
